Assistant mushroom grower, Harvesting and Production.
In this job you assist the mushroom grower in the broadest way you can.
The job contains filing and emptying cells/rooms, with mushroom compost, using equipment and winches.
Cleaning these cells/rooms with water and biological products.
Watering the compost and monitoring the growth of the mushrooms(but this is when you have enough education and experience).
Ruffling the compost when you filled the cells/rooms with new compost with equipment and winches.
Cutting mushrooms with a cutting machine and conveyor belts.
Sorting the mushrooms on quality and size.
Stacking cases with mushrooms on a pallet according to size and quality.
Taking care of hygiene in the cells/rooms, detect illnesses and diseases and report this to the grower.
Minor Maintenance at equipment there where it is needed.
Detect possible problems and solve them together with the grower or teamleader.
You work always under supervision and guidance of the grower or the team leader.
Communication is important in your position. And using equipment in different situations and tasks.

• We offer you a salary of €15,50 per worked hour. If you have proven experience this is even discussable and can be higher.
• Besides that we provide housing according to the quality mark of SNF this means “Stichting Normering Flexwonen” you can find this also on the worldwide web. Costs are between €115,- and €130,- per week.
• As an employee in Holland you must insure yourself for doctor and hospital otherwise you may not work here. We will provide this by Holland Zorg. This is a basic insurance, dentist is not included. We will sign you in there from the first day you will start work, this will end if you stop working by our agency. €39,70 per week
• Normally you work 35 till 45 hours each week.
• We provide transport if needed. But we prefer that you use your own car, km to and from the job are paid.
• Furthermore we guide you after work if you need this and within our responsibility and the rules according to the government
• By arrival and acceptance after the intake and everything is fine for you as well as us, you get the rules we live by on paper in your own language or in English and the key of the house/apartment.
• When you arrive in the weekend we do that on Monday.
• We arrange also a BSN number for you, if you do not have this. That is a social security number witch you must have if you want to work here in Holland.(this is needed for all employees in Holland)
• If needed we can provide safety shoes(€25,-) and working trousers(€20,-)
